We Moved!

Why so scarce?

The family has moved! Ash, Chris, and myself are now settled into a beautiful home in Texas. Needless to say, Florida wasn’t working out, and some things came up in our lives. We are very happy with where we are now though.

We Have Ourselves A Derp Dog

Chris says that Ash is a… derp.

But, I think he’s majestic regardless.

See, just look how sad he gets when you say that about his cute little face.

So you should apologize, Daddy.

And then he’s over it. 🙂

Take a look at what we’ve got going on in the backyard.
Our roommate’s WORST NIGHTMARE.

It’s spider city here.
I can’t tell you how many times I’ve went outside with the dogs
and then ran into a fella trying to stick me in his web. >_>

The roommate avoids the yard at all cost.

*nom, nom.. oh hi guise!

Did mom tell ya?

She found another squeaker for me. 🙂
It was Honey’s….

but that old lady won’t remember.

At least,  I hope not.

The Time Is Rapidly Approaching

Whatever will we do!?

Mom fears the blog space is shrinking while I continue to grow!

I’m not sure what the next step will be, but I would sure hate to lose media storage. I want to keep this blog of Ash, and would hate to lose all of the posts that have been here since day one, and I’d even more hate to lose the ability to post the way I have been.

We’d like to know what your thoughts are please! Do you still want to see us?

Don’t let Ash the Husky go to sleep!

What A Tease

This ain’t a Rope!

Ash has advanced to believing it's possible to play tug of war with a ball...

It Feels Good To Look Back And See Just How Far We Have Come <3

Chris & I met online 4 years, and 5 months ago…

It is mind-boggling for me to look into our past and think about all the plans and expectations we had for now. There are so many things I didn’t expect to happen, Ash being one of them!

If you had told me 4 years ago that I would be taking care of a Siberian Husky, I would have laughed.
“Whaaaa? I live in Texas…you crazy? What do you mean I’ll be in Florida by then?”

Before Ash came into our lives, or even before I moved to Florida this year, I never saw myself having another connection with any other dog that wasn’t Meako; my dog from home. I remember telling Chris that I wish I could have  brought him with me, but he was of course a part of my parents’ lives as well. I was so sad around Chris’ dogs, Cutie and Honey for the longest time because it just made me miss Meako more.

After settling into Florida, and living with Chris, the idea of having a dog of our own together was sounding really nice.

We looked for months to find the perfect dog. Chris had always wanted a Husky, and even though we knew the negatives to owning one, we did lots of heavy research to assure ourselves it was the right choice. For us, it was and is. 🙂

Ash has brought so much happiness and joy to our lives.

Dogs are members of the family.
Chris and I together are a couple, but now that Ash is here I feel we have started our own family.
That’s a nice feeling to have at the end of every day.

In my arms for the first time.

This hasn’t been said before, but this moment when I held Ash in my arms for the first time and he burrowed into my jacket and rested his head on my chest was the very moment I made another connection.

There is absolutely no denying that Chris fell in love as well.

We love this boy more than ever.

We love this boy more than ever.

Life is so good.
