It never fails. Every single time I put any sort of blanket or padding in the kennel for Ash I be comfortable, he has an accident on it.
I’m not even sure if its accidental anymore!
This is why Chris tells me to leave his kennel empty. This morning, because I was rushing to get out of the house on time, I put Ash in his smaller ken. Now I have to go home to that mess that is basically my fault. 
Grrawr !
Ash has advanced to believing it's possible to play tug of war with a ball...
Just the other day he threw up a bottle cap.
Once that happened, we knew there was a problem.
It was our fault in the first place to allow that.
Let’s stick to actual toys.
I don’t know about the rest of you guys, but we here have a long couple of days so far.
For goodness sake, Ash rearranged the L-room with his mouth today!
Who knew we were spring cleaning already?!
It’s no surprise how worn out he is…
Chris and I didn’t exactly like where he put his room, so it’s back where it belongs. o.o
He really could care less, donchu think?
He loves not having the blankets or towels in there anymore. The cool metal feels good on his fur. 🙂
Plus, he would tinkle in everryyy blanket we put in there, and he’s usually very good at holding his bladder.

Ash has a growing excitement when he knows that feeding time is near.
Chris and I have a goal to have Ash speak to us when he’s hungry. So far, it only works when we say the words, “foo-food.”
He still gets a little too excited, and we’re trying to break him of jumping and freaking out. He has gotten significantly better since this video was filmed!
Or the ill-behaved to behave apparently.
If anyone thought puppies were demons, try having a very old, frightened, and stubborn dog live with you. When it rains, even when there’s no thunder, the bedroom door and floor suffers.
Mind you, this is a NEW DOOR and newly installed CARPET! Coming home to this is angering.
What will we do…
The “L” room, as we call it, is our L-shaped media room (loft) that is also coupled as the doggy play room.
It’s not closed off, so the dogs are very free to roam about, and leave when they wish. Although, when Ash was a tiny puppy, just learning his way around the room, we kept a gate up to keep him only in the L-room. He all too fast grew past that stage.

Tonight I witnessed Asher thinking this water bowl was his pool. I’m sure you can imagine the irritation, especially considering I had JUST put down a fresh towel right out of the dryer. He was digging and digging, just like you’ve seen in pool videos.
When we first brought Ashy home, he would sit in front of the mirror and look at himself. It’s because of this that we would start to put down his beds and blankets, and toys here.
When he jumps up in our bed, we have mirrors all around our bed so he will stare at himself, and prevent us from seeing the TV. It’s cute. ❤

Okay, so it has became even MORE apparent that Chris and I really need to step up our game for Ash.
We can’t just buy him 10 toys at once, all cheap and cute.
Back then, toys weren’t destroyed as fast.. 😦
When we kept all of his stuffed toys in his over-night kennel, one morning we just woke up to this.
Never again! O_O
Having the stuffing scattered EVERYWHERE is not only very tedious to clean up, but not healthy for the dogs.
Maybe you saw our backyard? I had to go back there one day with a grabber and a trash bag to pick it all up. The bag was over flowing by the time I finished. Well, lots of leaves and other miscellaneous parts Ash destroyed were a part of this as well, but you get the idea, right?
My mother actually bought a rope toy for Ash and mailed it to me. (green thing seen in above picture)
He didn’t take interest in it until the last couple of weeks because he’s starting to develop a different interest in toys. He and Honey played with it together and it only took them a few days to rip that sucker in half. They now play with the stringy segments of what used to be…
I had to unclog my vacuum because of this.
This destruction & endless cleaning brings me to my next course of action-as well as quandaries!

I feel that shopping online for toys is my best move. I’ve gone to Walmart and Petco, looked at the toys, but reading reviews and talking to other people seems much better. Let’s face it, asking an employee which they recommend isn’t going to cut it.
I’m going to start with two toys I came across. They seem reasonable to me. Let me hear your thoughts!

Why this song? No reason, really. It was playing when I recorded the video, and it’s pleasant to listen to, especially while looking at beautiful pictures of the baby. ❤
Oh gosh you guys, I am sweating over here in my corner as I type to you! My palms are sticking to my desk… And yes, we do have an AC unit in this room, a very cold one. Why is it not on? IT IS ON! It’s currently pointed into Ash’s ken-ken while he naps because I’m a good doggy mom and he was panting earlier. He exercised outside a bit and so I put a cold bowl of water in there for him and covered his room so it can get nice an chilly for my Siberian pup.
(This room is supposed to have 3 ceiling fans in it, but they’re being repaired.)
If you haven’t noticed before, it can get hot up here because of the 8 windows that enclose the room…

Well this is awkward…
“I would really like to be playing with this rope toy now. :/”
“Are you speaking of THIS rope toy, Honey?”
“Can’t haz.”
“Quick dodge, how you like that? Sucka.”
The rope toy hung in Ash’s ken since we brought him home. I’ve never actually watched him play with it. I think I may have heard him. Sometimes I’d hear toys clinging against the kennel and it may have been the rope swinging.
That night was the first time I took it out of the ken-ken and had them play with it. It was destroyed in a matter of hours. I really need to start buying more durable toys apparently.
It’s now evident he can’t have cute stuffed animals. I’ll just find the pieces all day.
